Since your skin plays such a vital role in maintaining proper health, giving your skin the hydration and nourishment that it needs is essential. Our products use some of the best natural ingredients available. These are condensed into soothing creams, salves and other healing balms.
Our Story
MEET THE FOUNDER
Leah was born in Santiago, Chile where from an early age she observed the benefits of natural remedies. She started crafting her healing balms in 2011 while studying at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). Her naturopathic studies introduced her to the benefits of using nature to heal the body. She discovered herbs like Calendula, which prevents infection and heals the skin; Comfrey, which helps moisturize and soothe dry skin and Larrea (Chaparral), which heals wounds and decreases inflammation. Leah is passionate about using quality, natural ingredients in all of her products, because she knows firsthand how the body responds to pure ingredients.
QUALITY INGREDIENTS
We strive to use organic or wild crafted ingredients wherever possible. Shea butter sourced from Africa is a key ingredient in all of our creams. Shea is a skin superfood and has a low risk of inciting skin reactions. When crafting our soaps we source Tallow from grass fed cattle, which supports the use of the whole animal and minimizes waste. In all of our products we strive to use organic and wild crafted essential oils. This limits exposure to harmful chemicals and pesticides. We also pay close attention to extraction of the oils. For example, some low quality oils use solvent extraction like hexane and ethanol, which have been found to be carcinogenic (i.e. cancer causing agents). Instead, we look to source essential oils that were extracted using steam, cold press, and water distillation.
